We’ve harnessed the latest in rare earth magnet technology to bring whole sound reproduction into the DX Series. Here at Lowther, we’ve become known for our large magnet assemblies. They’re exceptional, but we knew that we could do one step better. The magnets in the DX Series are the lightest and most compact on the market, yet they’re also some of the most powerful. They offer a wider range of sound and can reach diaphragm acceleration rates far beyond those accessible to conventional magnet systems. The DX Series is for when only perfection will do.

This state of the art magnet technology is combined with our coil control system, to increase the speed of the speaker cones whilst reducing any oscillation in sound frequencies to an absolute minimum. The result? A perfect listening experience.

Both the DX Series and the EX Series have the inner speaker cone isolated from the outer, and we’ve also added a reverse roll to the rim of their inner cones. So, rather than the two cones working in unison at certain frequencies, you can now enjoy one smooth sound. Far more detail is captured and reproduced, so that live listening experience doesn’t feel quite so far away. With complete diaphragm control, our speaker drivers offer the latest in listening experience.
