“How do they get so low in bass and also keep that sweet mid and highs?”
The Acousta Quarter Wave continues to astonish, even when placed alongside legends of British hi-fi. Its folded, rear firing horn design delivers articulate, room-filling bass while retaining the crystalline mids and highs for which Lowther is renowned.
Did we mention you can even put this speaker behind sofas and furniture?
Now you can hear the difference yourself. A comparison video reveals the Acousta in action - natural, uncoloured, unmistakably Lowther.
Even through a mobile phone microphone you can hear the Lowther clarity.
Every Acousta is handmade in our Norfolk workshop, fitted with the PM7A Philharmonic drive unit, and finished in matched veneers that make each pair unique. With our 10-year warranty and Lowther for Life promise, it is more than a loudspeaker, it is an heirloom instrument.
